Artūras Deltuva

 Consultant, psychologist, PhD in social sciences.
I consult educators, human resource experts, team leaders and teams about themselves and their work, communication, relationships and cooperation with other people, in achieving goals.
I provide training seminars in the following topics:
Training trainers or teaching to learn
Use of experiential learning and other non-formal education methods for the development of soft competencies
Psychology of personal effectiveness
Team building, leading the team, developing team-work skills
Psychology of time management
Self-awareness and knowing oneself
Intercultural communication
Public communication

I use methods, that help to internalise learning material and in particular strengthen the links between learning and personal experience – experiential learning, phenomenological analysis, Open Space Technology, Forum theatre and other interactive methods.

I was trained in Vilnius University and have since refined my learning in various countries – Sweden, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Belgium, France and Austria.

Experience:
I have wide international experience – from 1998 cooperating with Outwardbound Belgium, from 1994 cooperating and providing training for the Council of Europe, working in training courses in nearly every EU member state and also in Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iceland and Norway. In 2009 successfully started the new project "International Academy for Experiential Learning“.
Since 2000 I have been consulting and training businesses, including small and medium enterprises, production, IT, retail and creative, Lithuanian as well as foreign companies.
Recently I have gained wide experience of working with higher education institutions, for instance: a new course "Team development and leadership“ in Mykolas Romeris University; development of the new programme for soft competence development through experiential methods among students in Vilnius Cooperation College; creating the new programme "Leaders for tomorrow“ in Vilnius University Career Centre and together with partners I provide courses for students of the international business school INSEAD in France.
For me the sign of a successful seminaris when people do not only gain new knowledge, but also meet with themselves – become more self aware, discover new opportunities and see their future vision more clearly.

  I learn all my conscious life – learn to work, create, be among people and together with people. I learn in formal settings as well as non-formal training seminars. It is exactly why I invite others to discover the benefits of learning, take risks while facing challenges in work or groups. I work with various groups of people or organisations since 1997. This was also when I started to administer local and international projects and the everyday life of organisations. I have an MA in social work from Vilnius University and a non-formal training in Outwardbound Belgium seminars for experiential learning methods as well as several trainings for the ensuring of training quality in Italy and Slovenia. I constantly update my competence of group work in various local and international seminars. I master experiential learning methods as well as other active learning methodologies. I have created and developed several consulting and human resource development programmes for Lithuanian organisations. I believe, that training and consulting projects are most beneficial whenever they are based on the authentic needs of an organisation; therefore I put a lot of effort into the analysis of the organisational situation. The areas of increased interest for me are teamwork, communication and cooperation, management of conflicts, coaching, service work and stress management.

 Psychologist (Vilnius University), PhD research (Mykolas Romeris University). I have studied in Europa Viadrina University (executive MBA) and courses of narrative and gestalt psychotherapy for 6 years. Over 11 years of experience in training seminars.
Seminars to my understanding are firstly human encounters. In trainings I think about themes and discussions, that would be personally close to participants, but I also understand that not everyone is ready to really question themselves. My topics for consulting seminars, inviting people to look for answers together, to better understand their needs, consider feelings and be themselves are as follows – harmony in teams, public speaking, personal effectiveness, conscious parenthood, negotiating personal and professional life and partner relationships. I also consult individuals and couples (www.porukonsultavimas.lt).

Artūras Malinauskas

Professional supervisor (Munster Academy and Vytautas Magnus University), social worker and teacher specialising in youth work (Dresden, Germany).
For a third of my life I have worked and consulted people and groups in Lithuania and abroad. To keep myself fit and flexible as a trainer I work with various groups – businesses, social and youth organisations as well as youth groups themselves.
I escort people towards a qualitative relation with themselves, their colleagues and the surrounding environment. In other words towards more efficient work and better results. In terms of topics I am interested in creativity as one of the most important issues related to work that needs to be developed throughout life. Practical and academic experience allow me to improvise in team work, personal development, feedback, social skills development, communication and cooperation skills, self-management and managing other people, conflict management and motivation topics.
I improvise with myself and instruments gained through studies abroad and in Lithuania as well as non-formal (intercultural) training. These instruments help me strengthen active learning. Mostly I am rely on experiential learning, outdoor education, game pedagogy, Forum theatre and other methods. I also like to use humour and paradox interventions, which allow for alternative views towards situations and increased awareness.
I enjoy being:
Board member and secretary of the Lithuanian Supervisors Association;
Board member of Lithuanian Association for Non-formal Education;
Trainer of EC programme "Active youth“.
Expert for project evaluation of Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Social Affairs;
Expert in open youth work

My usual posture is similar to that of the chess knight – straight-forward and asking (two steps forward and one step to the side).
Favourite question is "who said this is going to be easy?“.
Hobbies – archery, because it is about the self; juggling, because it is about life.
And my Teacher – Daniil Kharms.

 I am a trainer, consultant, psychologist with a degree in clinical psychology (Vilnius University). I worked in substance abuse rehabilitation, later as a head for human resource management and I have experience in personal consulting. I have participated and still regularly participate in international long-term experiential learning and learning to learn training courses in Lithuania and abroad. From 2002 I provide training and consultation for various organisations and develop training programmes. In seminars I am mostly interested in cooperation, teamwork, serving clients, leading and management, teaching, parenthood skills, conflict management, personal development and strengthening as well as stress management topics. I concentrate on personal experience, created relationships and focus on our usual behaviour that tends to result in us neglecting opportunities.
I like using experiential learning methods, which allows the person and the group to meet actual reality and to experience the situation or issue more fully.
I believe, that it is imperative in professional as well as personal life not to lose our "essences", so that the things that are really important do not get lost under a weight of trivial things. My motto is: Dare to live, to feel, to discover; in other words – learning.

Žilvinas Gailius

In training courses, I specialise in the development of communication and cooperation skills, leadership, teamwork, project management, group dynamics, intercultural communication, working in intercultural teams, getting to know oneself and personal development (confidence, responsibility, conflict management, creative problem solving).
I have intense international training experience in outdoor experiential learning and intercultural learning programmes since 1997. Also, I cooperate with Council of Europe and EC Partnership programme training centres. I have developed and provided training projects in France, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Luxemburg, Estonia, Turkey, Spain, Iceland, Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In life and at work I follow several principles:
If you can abstain from doing something – abstain;
What a group can do themselves, it should do themselves;
Wisdom sits in the group;
You will not return to the same river twice;
Experience is not given for free, therefore what must be learnt comes the hard way;
the Mind, once it meets new experience, cannot go back to its original shape.
a good team stimulates like coffee, and similarly it is difficult to sleep afterwards;
And also:
I strongly oppose formation of personality – I like learning and development instead;
the concept of "problem" I prefer rather to change into the concept of "challenge";
I am sensitive towards the claim “something has to be done!“. I like answering with a firm "No“ – and then we see what has to be done really!;
It is impossible to help another person and at the same time not help oneself.
